last week I've encountered a routing problem on my IRX112. This is
the situation:
On my backbone I have several unix stations
On connection is made to my Novell 3.12 File server, which has two
workstation segments
internet (193.78.249.133 PPP)

FS 3.12 ----- lan segment 1
|
lan segement 2
I have only one C-adres, so my netmask is 255.255.255.224
Since I've connected the second LAN segment, I was unable to reach
machines on the network 193.78.249.0. All other locations on the
Internet could be reached.
I had to set routing to broadcast, and add the routes to my internal
network manually before I could reach the machines on 193.78.249.0
Does anybody know what's wrong?
