If we receive a flood of traffic on the ether0 it can fill the Buffer. If
this happens, we turn off the receiver until the buffer has room again, then
we restart the receiver, and you get this message.
It sounds like this PM had a wave of packets sent it's way. You can
reproduce this with 'spray'.
