Sorta obvious question - Have you done a save on the port after you set
it up? (I have to ask, you might be surprised...)
You have it setup for hardwired - but then you say the 900i is 'redial'ing.
That implies a dialed connection, not a leased line or physical cable.
You might want to contact support with this: a show on the port while
the connection is up, and then one after it is lost, will help.
