My guess is that the majority of the problems occurs with customers using
Trumpet's PPP. We were having similar problems with people using Trumpet
Winsock; we switched them all to SLIP, and the problems went away. Now we
have lotsandlots of customers using Win95's PPP without a problem. The
problems also seemed not to occur with MacPPP.

Trumpet's PPP implementation sucks dead donkey dick (IMHO of course).
