Well here is one the cute little secrets about revision 3.1.2
Command> add modem usr-v34 "USRobotics V.34" 115200 "AT&f1S0=1&W^OK"
Command> show table modem (see if this worked for you)
Command> set all modem usr-v34
Command> save all
Command> reset all
This was a nice little feature I found.
