Hello everyone I am new to this new list so if this has already
been answered please tolerate this inquiry. I would like to solve these
following solutions.

1) I like to a default PPP,SLIP,CSLIP, and CPPP user since most of
my users are standard dialup types or Dedicated circuits.

2) shrink the users file I understand you can do something nbm
even thos this might not be needed if I can do one. Will cut
about 80% of the fat.

3) I have seen the SCP patch for radius 1.12 but I was wondering
if such a thing existed for 1.16. Or is there beta version a prom that
will allow users to select there own protocal much like how the
Cisco ASM-CS works like.

4) A big deal now is that users can't change there dialup passwd
If I could have default PPP,blah, blah setup and have it so it works
much like SCP patch it be nice. Example username: john
calls in if he users Pjohn then have radius auth using username
john which does have an encrytped passwd. I know that there is a way
to cheat this one and basically have multiple enteries in my passwd
file and my users file but this seems like a waste to me. Also
I am thinking about the future. I also admin a freenet with 8000+
users and a linear search doesn't cut it.

5) is there a new revision of software for linux?
