One of our users had this problem as well when he bought his new
computer. He talked to Apple, who basically said that there were NO
shareware PPP drivers out there which were compatable with Open Transport
yet. Some of the weirder releases of Macppp (2.1.2sd and such) seemed to
work better than standard MacPPP, but nothing worked flawlessly. Hence,
time to ditch the open trasport / TCP/IP extensions.

It's _going_ to support PPP connections (or whatever you have a driver
for), but current drivers don't seem to work with it.

Grumble.
