On the whole, I have had quite good response from technical support at
Livingston. If you need to talk to a technician, you might wait quite a
while, but as someone else mentioned, if you say it's a CRITICAL
SYSTEM-DOWN problem, you'll usually get a quick response.

As for hardware problems, I've learned that the easiest way is to say "My
[insert Livingston model # here] is down and I can't get any response
from it. Can you get me an RMA number, and cross-ship me a loaner right
away?" Every single time I have asked, I have got a loaner. When it
comes to loaner equipment, their turnaround time is exceptional.
