Menu creation

I have recently received a Portmaster 2e 30 port server & have set up a
port for analog access via modem. We are considering the switch from
Telebit & I have 2 questions to pose before doing so:

1) Are there people out there who have run the Portmaster fully loaded
without experiencing sporadic crashes etc. I read in the listserv digests
that some users had experienced frequent (~1 day and less) crashes. Any
similar experiences?

2) Is there a way to set up a menu interface for the initial login. For
example, a user might have the ability to have 3 prompts:

pm1 login:
password:

Welcome to our service

Choose your service

ppp
slip
bbs

Choice:

I would be doing this only as a temporary measure to accomodate users of
our netblazer but wanted to see if it was even possible. Thanks in advance.
