Be careful with the LT Winmodems-from what I understand the users need to
get the firmware from the vendor who sold the modem (HP uses a lot of them)
rather than Lucent who made the modem-according to Lucent (this was a while
ago, it may have changed) the firmware is slightly different depending on
the configuration used by the vendor. We have found LT Winmodems to either
work great, or be a constant pain-Drew
