I was going to suggest "gratuitous ARP" (see RFC 2002, section 4.6) -
this should make all connected devices *update* their ARP cache, which is
of course better than either a flush or a timeout. A quick test indicates
that this doesn't work with ComOS though (at least PM-2e/ComOS-3.7.2),
which is a shame - according to the abovementioned RFC, ARP
implementations MUST update their cache in this case, per RFC 826.
