You can limit the number of concurrent logins, but ONLY with many of the
Commercial ODBC compliant versions of Radius. Like Dale Reed's, RadiusNT
from http://www.iea-software.com/ . There are several others out there, I
only know about RadiusNT. I have been using this product since we started
almost 4 years ago and even though there were some development problems
along the way, RadiusNT is a "Top Notch Product".
For those of you who prefer FREEWARE, I have seen many postings about perl
and C scripts that you can run every few minutes, they check on who's
logged in and knock off the duplicates.
I won't enter a "Political" or "RFC Should Be" debate, but if you want to
solve the problems you are having, go to http://www.iea-software.com/ , Buy
RadiusNT, you may even consider Purchasing a ODBC/RadiusNT compatible
billing program, or you can maintain the FREE Access Database that comes
with RadiusNT . Set up properly, this will prevent those multiple logins.
NO I don't work for IEA Software, but I will promote products that work
GREAT, and give me little grief. I am sure that "Steel Belted" and Other
"ODBC" based Radius's will do the same thing.
