atm or FR. and it would the the adsl carried over atm, or FR, as the
case might be. i've had only hands on experience with 2 cpe units, the
Cisco (formerly Netspeed) and the OrkKit (sp ?), used by USW and GTE.
the newer cisco rev for that box (675) allows for routed or bridged
mode, while the latter does not, only bridging. I am unfamiliar with
the ascend xDSL products.
