If you compare JUST processors:
The IRX is either a 386-25 or a 386-33 processor depending on when you got
it. The PM 3 is a 486-dx266.
Also keep in mind that latest com os doesnt run on the irx.
:While I'm asking questions, is there hope for something bigger than a pm3,
:but not as big as a pm4? Sort of a midsized router box? (Cisco resellers ;
:don't even bother to email me your Cisco solution to the question, I am
:aware of their product lines.)
MZ mentioned rumblings of something like a pm35 which was going to be like a
non modular version of a pm 3. Lucent RABU doesnt really have a competing
product along the lines of a 3600, 3800, 4700 series router.
