I guess I don't get it. We haven't had a modem in 3 months that couldn't
connect at 46K+ with our PM3s (at least on our test line which we know is
a real phone line). The last remaining problem modem was the HCF modems
in the HP Pavilions, but the last update by HP solved that problem. We've
done several hundred installs since then and have yet to have a modem that
would connect reliably at at least 46K (with probalby 90% at 49K or 50K).
