I remember now the explanation I got. They said that if the swith starts
getting full, i.e. no channels open out of the CO, it will start looking at
call durations and begin to drop old cals. New calls should take precedence
over a call that has lasted for several days, dont you think? It is sold as
a switched service in the USA and Idont think you could force the fone co to
NOT disconect you. Besides, it is not a big deal, its like a little lag for
a few secs.
