(PM) PM-4 and heat problems

We have a two-slot Portmaster 4. Slot 0 frequently runs 3-4 degrees
hotter than slot 1, and has passed into "alarm" territory once (45
degrees). It's in an air conditioned room, and moving a fan so it
pointed at the machine seemed to help. Is it typical for the
most-utilized card to run that much hotter than the other cards? Also,
has anyone else experienced heat dissipation problems with a PM-4? Bit
unusual to need to point a fan at a piece of hardware...
