Okay, this explains my confusion. I would have expected the telcos to
have more ports emitting things on T1's rather than individual analog
lines. This is apparently not the case. Its a waste on (telco) port
density and means you'll be using more facilities to deliver your
services to neighborhoods. Then again, that only matters in densely
populated areas.
