Re: (PM) "Wink Start, Immediate Start, Loop Start" Which is best to use?

I did see that webpage before, but it still doesn't really answer my
questions on "what the difference is?" I'm tempted to have my Telco
switch my lines over to wink start, but I'm worried it will cause more
problems. I noticed the page recommends either wink or fxs loop start.
Any idea which one is perferred from the two?

I was told by one of the Telco engineers that the signalling only applies to
the answering of the call and that since immediate start is working for me,
I should leave it alone. My hunch is he really didn't know what the
difference was and just wanted to sound like he did. :-)

Well, I'll keep looking to see if I can find the optimum signal.

Thanks again
Jim Weber
