(PM) "Wink Start, Immediate Start, Loop Start" Which is best to use?

I've been looking for an answer to this question for a while now. Which
type of signaling is best and what are the differences?

We have CT1's coming in to our pm3's. They are trunk sided and at the
moment, they are running "immediate start" (See cut below) A few people
have told me that I should be using "Wink Start" Our Telco offers all three
types and of course the pm3's give us the option of them all.

Status: UP Framing: ESF Encoding: B8ZS PCM: u-law
Signaling: Trunk E&M immediate start

Which is best? I have asked the Telco engineers, technicians, and other
isp admins and no one seems to know. So I figured I would ask the experts
on this list. :-)

Does anyone have a preference, is one more stable then the other? Will one
cause more disconnects then the other? Any input on this mystery would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
