Re: (PM) Disconnect status?

Yup, I've come to the same conclusion. I've actually tested it. I'll
connect to a modem showing CIRCUIT DISCONNECT, then I'll disconnect
normally (hitting the Disconnect button in Win95). I check the modem I
was connected to, and it still shows CIRCUIT DISCONNECT, althought the
number of calls has gone up by one. If I go and check the RADIUS
detail, it shows that my disconnect reason was "User Request - PPP Term
Req"--A normal disconnect. For that reason, I've come to the conclusion
that the disconnect reasons shown by the PM3 are broken--or at least
they don't always show the correct disconnect reason for the last call
(which is what I think they're supposed to do). About 85% of the
disconnect reasons shown by my PM3s are CIRCUIT DISCONNECT, yet I get
very few support calls reporting random disconnects. Anyway, to get
more accurate info on disconnects, you really should use either the
RADIUS detail file or the syslog.
