Re: (PM) Couple of questions on PM3 ????

Howdy,

I generally lurk here, so I may not be speaking from any moral authority
... and I'm not trying to be inflammatory ... but I have a couple of
questions:

* why does this person keep asking questions that can be found in the
docs?

* why do we keep answering them, instead of telling him to RTFM?

I can understand an occasional basic question that could have been
answered by looking at documentation (heck, I've done it myself, and felt
duly chastised when someone gently or not-so-gently pointed out that it
could be found if I looked) ... but this person is clearly using this list
as his own personal research tool, and while I sometimes find the
information useful, it's starting to get on my nerves. This is what docs
and FAQs are for.

If he had even read the table of contents to the ComOS command-line
reference, he would know where to find many of his answers. We've already
shown him how to fish, many times, We even bought him a tackle box and
some nice hip-waders. Let's let him catch a few on his own for a while.

Royce
