You dont need any additional instances of tcp/ip. You actually edit the
registry to add
an alias to the existing interface. See the article at:
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q156/7/72.asp
entitled, adding additional IP addresses to a single network adapter.
The process is easy, however routing is pesky, and anytime you make any
change to the tcp/ip stuff, you have to start completely over. (Windows
Sucks).
