You can use the PM-2ER as a router so it makes a very neat "pop in a
box". The PM-2ER is temperature sensitive so make sure its in a fairly
controlled environment. Also, the router function works nicely but
don't expect a very high data rate. At one time Livingston was
recommending no more that 90 modems but my own experiences say that 60
is more believable. Obviously you need additional PM2s or other
terminal servers when you exceed the thirty ports in the PM-2ER.

The W0 port on the PM-2ER is switchable between RS-232 and V.35. You
probably will need a CSU/DSU to connect it to your incoming data line.
