Re: (PM) Trouble upgrading on busy PM3

Just finished upgrading and did it while things were not too busy.
The process completed without a hitch with pmconsole reporting
success. Then I tried to reboot it and all hell broke loose. It turned
out the comos file I had downloaded was too large and so the memory
checksum was wrong, causing it to choke on bootup.=20
After a short panic I downloaded the comos again and this time it
booted just fine after I got it reloaded. That tftp server from cisco
sure came in handy.
Goes to show that even when things appear fine they should be checked
and doublechecked.
Too early to notice any differences in performance though. I was
having a lot of problems with a couple of my usr winmodem customers
being disconnected regularly so I'll be checking with them later.
