At one of our POP's we have a PM4 running 4.1b15. Over the last four
day's it's been giving us real nightmares.
Basically it stops taking calls, stops answering telnet requests, snmp
stops working, pmvision stops working, but you can still ping the beast.
It's physically located in a CLEC colocation facility and the only way we
can get it to work again is to have one of the engineer's there power it
off and back on. I need to get something to do this for me since this is
costing me a $75 bucks a pop to do this. And this is the 5th time.
After it get's powered back on if you do a 'show bootlog' it just says
everything is ok. AFAIK the bootlog will show you information regarding a
crash, but then again I'm not too sure about this command.
This morning we had a technician onsite who reflashed it again to 4.1b15
and he also redid all of the cabling, and swapped the QuadT1 cards to
diffrent slots.
After he was done, I noticed that there was about a dozen modems that
were saying "ERROR" and "DOWN" on one of the Quad cards. I called
support about this and they decided it was a bad card and are RMA'ing a
new card up in the morning.
But again tonight, after the box was up around 8 hours, it crashed again,
before we could call the CLEC again to have it rebooted it came back up on
it's own, I logged in and did a 'show bootlog' and this is what came back
to me :

Now when you do a 'show bootlog' is that the information that caused it to
crash? Does it save this information and is this what I am reading?
Anyways, if any of you have any ideas, or have seen anything like this
before, I would appreciate any hints.
