Yes, this is for some kind of Japanese Handy Phone (piafs) and only for
that. Its not code that the majority of us would even care about. I do
agree that the version number is misleading. I have no idea why they
didn't just call it 3.8.2-piafs or something like that.
I assume that it should be very shortly that the "vastly improved" modem
code makes it into the 3.9 beta and into this piafs version, Right???
On another note: What about the rumours that are going around that the
PM-4 is going to be cancelled in favor of the Ascend product line? (Got
this from a very reputable reseller)
