DDNS only involves the client and the DDNS server.

Once the client is given a dynamic address (could be via DHCP or via PPP
dialin), the client contacts the DDNS server and asks it to update so
that the name of the client points to the new address. Then either the
client or the DDNS server contacts the reverse DDNS server and it
updates the reverse pointer.

The Portmaster would only be responsible for assigning a dynamic address
to the user wehn he dials in. This is business-as-usual.
