You totally missed my point of the post.
There are modem engineers
There are java engineers
There are engineers for specific jobs.
I am pointing my argument towards all the "whiners" that complain that
Lucent is working ON OTHER THINGS. When they post a new version of
PMVision, i dont want to hear people:
"YOU SHOULD BE WORKING ON MODEM CODE NOT JAVA TOOlS!"
"YOU SHOULD BE FIXING MODEM CODE, NOT OSPF PROBLEMS!"
for example. Just because SOMEONE wants the modem code worked on, doesnt
me that there are not other legitimate things that need to be worked on.
And just because other things are being worked on, does NOT MEAN that
people are NOT WORKING on the modem code. See my point?

pretty much only the modem code was worked on for the 3.8.2c2 release.
Read the changes.
Besides, you cannot please everyone. Here you are saying that they could
have put the modem changes into the 3.9 beta branch. Now you have TONS of
people complaining that the modem code was stuffed into the 3.9 branch,
but that they dont want to run 3.9 because it's a "beta" and is unstable,
yada yada yada.
