(PM) Reported IP

I am using a PM3 over a frame network with the T1 card. As I understand
it, the PM3 does not do unnumbered IP. I have assigned the frame IP
address from a private IP space. The PM uses this address when ever
request are made from the PM (ping. etc....) The problem as I see it is
that when the path tries to return it encounters an unroutable address.
Is there a way to have the portmaster make request with the ether0
address insted of the frame address... Is the "reported address"
function valid for this installation?
