We had someone write a program that goes through the /usr/adm/radacct/
detail files which makes a list of usernames and time. This is run daily.

There's probably similar software that does this at various un-official
portmaster sites.

We also have another program which males the list and excludes time
between midnight and 10am (which we provide free to our customers, time we
don't count)

Then I made a webpage CGI which searches/greps the output of these
programs to present to the customer.

Another ISP in the area feeds all the logfiles right into a database and
uses that to keep track of all the data.
