We use that command sometimes with the "inband 0" parameter just to check
our E1 line from our telco. We learned how to interpret just some code about
that. Even so, I would recommend you checking with Lucent before doing
something different with that command. Here is what we learned about it:
Syntax:: dsct inband (line)
Ie. dsct inband 0
The resulting line B tells that a certain channel is in use by the telco
central if it has 1 or not in use if it has 0.
The A and FSM are checked in combination so the information we have is:
A - FSM = channel
1 1 = IDLE
0 3 = HANDSHAKING
0 4 = ESTABLISHED
0 5 = RESETING
0 6 = DISCONNECTED
0 7 or 14 = TESTING MODEM
0 1 = CHANNEL BLOCKED ON TELCO
Check with Lucent before using that !
