(PM) FYI--Mac Apple has MRJ 2.1 on FTP site

Although when I looked this morning, Apple Mac Runtime for Java 2.1
was not mentioned on the Apple Web site, it is available for
downloading via the Apple FTP site, at (unavoidable linewrap):

ftp://ftp.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/Apple_Software_Updates/US/
Macintosh/System/Java/MRJ_2.1.smi.bin

Installation is trivial, both over MRJ 2.0 (my 7300) and over MRJ
2.1ea3 (my 8100).

Quit other applications first, at least those where you want to save
something...there will be a Restart following installation.

The only obvious difference when running PMVision is the lack of the
"expired" alert, and perhaps faster startup (on my 8100, it could
hardly have been slower ;-) ).

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him to fish,
and you get rid of him for the weekend.
