Once again, I seem to be having some sort of VERY stupid problem. Yesterday
I got new lines, well, I never was able to get them functional in my
Potmaster - either way, I disconnected them. Everything seemed fine, I
still had my 1st single T1 going into the box.
This morning, I get paged and calls of "it's not answering" or "I'm getting
a busy signal", etc. - well, wondering what was up, I call the phone number,
and low and behold - it's busy. I go to the store, there is only 1 user
online. Call again, it's busy.
For some STUPID reason, the portmaster busied out all of my phone lines
except for the first one, but they all showed green in the monitor view.
This is the second time it has happened in just over a week, why would my
portmaster busy out lines on its own?? The telnet port is blocked from the
outside world, so I know no one could telnet in from off the net, and if
they had hacked me, why were all of the passwords still the same?
