Huh? Id like to know what threads you are referring to. Weve been using
STAC since the beginnning, and if anything it is a NECESSITY for isdn. As
for analog connections, with Dun 1.3 or windows 98, stac compression works
as well.

If you have ANY isdn customers, I HIGHLY recommend it. If you have lots of
users with high speed pentium computers, then stac will give you about a
20% improvement over the older v.42 bis old compression technology that
uses your little modem cpu.
