One of our customers has an Eiger Labs PCI modem witha PCTel chipset. When
we upgraded to 3.8, it broke his high speed connections (45k). The Eiger
Labs website suggested trying:

Add "S91=5" or "S91=15"

After some tinkering, we found that S91=1 seemed to work best for that
customer and his connections are back up to ~45k. Start at S91=1 and go up
to see what works best.
