There are 3 things you can mean:
1. The pm2's were not traditionally rack mountable. There were a few made
with holes in which case, the rack ears for the pm 25 would work.
2. The pm 2e's were not traditionally rack mountable without buying the
rack-mount kit for the 2e which is a shelf that bolts to the bottom of the
2e.
3. Some of the 2e cases, in particular, the 2ei cases with the bri ports
were drilled and there ARE large rack ears available for those.
Which did you need? I have sets for both, but not the shelf unit.
