If a command useful enough for an engineer to hand to a tech support
person at Lucent in association with a trouble ticket, then they're useful
enough for users. This command can be used to see anything drastic or out
of the ordinary with a port or b channel. You don't need to be an engineer
or a rocket scientist to appreciate it's use, although I admit I could use
to know a little bit more about this command. Also, given the level of
depth of parameters of this command, it doesn't look like a temporary
debug toy to me.

If memory serves me correctly, Livingston had quite a reputation for
undocumented commands and features a few years back, so much that many
of these "undocumented" features had accumulated into a list that was
widely circulated. If memory serves me correct, some of these undocumented
features graduated into documented features.

As long as people understand that they should be used with caution and
respect, what is the issue?

Cheers,

-Jason
