PRI == 23b + 1d
E1 == 30b + 2d

Why? Because PRI is on T1 and E1 is E1 (Is the E1 ever called Euro-PRI?)

from http://www.totaltelcom.com/Glossary/p.html

PRI - Primary Rate Interface (ISDN) - An ISDN circuit transmitting at T1
(DS-1) speed (equivalent to 24 voice-grade channels). One of the channels
("D") is used for signaling, leaving 23 ("B") channels for data and voice
communication. 30BD channels in Europe, supporting around 1,920Mbit/s.

from http://www.totaltelcom.com/Glossary/t.html

T1 DS1 - (1) A phone-company standard for running 24 digitized voice
circuits through one 1.5megabit/second digital channel. (2) A US and
Japanese standard for high-speed data transmission at 1.544Mbit/s - 24
64Kbit/s channels plus 8Kbit/s' control information are provided. Also
called a DS1. Has the ability to carry 24 DSO lines

from http://www.totaltelcom.com/Glossary/e.html

E1 - A digital circuit with standardized characteristics that operates at
2.048 Mbps. This standard is widely used in Europe and in submarine cables
as the rough equivalent of a DS-1 (E1 provides thirty 64 Kbps channels -
six more than a DS-1)
