If an X2 modem was not flashed to v.90, you won't get 56K out of it when
connecting to a PM3, or most Kflex derived servers (there are some
exceptions, but the PM3 is not one of them). And an X2 derived terminal
server upgraded to v.90 will not support a KFlex caller at speeds above
v.34+ either.

X2->v.90 supports v.90 and X2

KFlex->v.90 supports v.90 and KFlex
