I have a problem with users logging into my pm3 (3.7.2c3)
They are logging in from w95 boxes using dial-up networking.
The error message is "The remote computer has disconnected you..."
However the line is still open and is dropped a while later.
If I use hyperterminal using ATDTxxxxxxx then I can logon.
But using the hyperterminal dialer causes the same fault. The
modems being used to dial in are all new ones of different types.
Nothing is reported in the log files and the tcp/ip bindings are
all normal. To cap it all, they say they "can login their other
isps". I can also logon as them from my computer at home. Hmm
I'm confused.
Anyone any ideas?
