(PM) Viking PC Card - v.90

New Viking PC Card with both v.90 and K56Flex codes (latest).
Connecting to PM3 - 3.8b15.
Connects at 42K, but can hardly craw. Broken, choppy, long delays in
throughput.

Connects to analog USR Netserver/16 at 33.6K with very decent
throughput.

Is there ANY solution? I notice this on a lot of modems that claim to be
v.90. Some connect at 53K, but terrible throughput.

So who has to meet the v.90 standard? Lucent, or the modem
manufacturer's?
