Brian,
Not knowing exactly point to point 5ESS, are you sure that
you need SPID? in our case, we don't use SPID number at all for
our 5ESS point to point. Furthermore if I put it, error message
seems to direct me wrong way. But direc number seems to be a MUST.

At least as far as I know, cisco called it 5ess-basic and it does not
require to have SPID on it.
