I've seen alot of problems witht he Generic 33.6 modems and PM3's.

What I do is put 3 commas behind the phone #. Each commas is a 3 second
pause so the users modem skips the v.8 tone. Its works like a charm about
75% of the time. I especially use it if they are getting disconnected 1-3
minutes after logon.

I'm running 3.8b15, which I've found to give the users the highest connect
rate. In fact when I was running 3.7.2c3 on all of them execpt one way in
the back, I get this call from a user who has tried desperatly for a month
to get a flex connect. Well, we wrote it off as his phone line but he had
just gotten a 44000, and sure enough he had came in on the PM3 running
3.8b15.
