RE: (PM) USR PalmPilot and PM3

This appears to be a PPP Timeout due to no response on the part of the
PalmPilot. The PM3 sends a LCP_CONFIGURE_REQUEST and it appears that the
PalmPilot never responds. The PalmPilot should respond with an
LCP_CONFIGURE_ACK or a LCP_CONFIGURE_NAK. Check and make sure the software
is installed properly on the PalmPilot.

Subject: (PM) USR PalmPilot and PM3

Hi!

A customer is trying to connect to a PM3 with a USR PalmPilot but with
no success, anyone also had problem with it?
The radius entry looks like this..

login Password = "password"
Service-Type = Framed-User,
Framed-Protocol = PPP,
Framed-IP-Address = 255.255.255.254,
Framed-Routing = None,
Framed-Compression = Van-Jacobson-TCP-IP,
Port-Limit = 1

and if I do a PPP debug on it it looks like this...

S9: Sending Request Connect - 64Kbps / Voice (B29 ID:109)

Sending LCP_CONFIGURE_REQUEST to port S9 of 24 bytes containing:
01 01 00 18 02 06 00 00 00 00 05 06 8C 7F 81 70 07 02 08
02 03 04 C0 23
Packet Info: Code: 0x01, ID: 0x01, 24 bytes.
Async-Control-Character-Map [0x02], length: (6 bytes),
[0x00000000]
Magic-Number [0x05], length: (6 bytes), [0x8C7F8170]
Protocol-Field-Compression [0x07], length: (2 bytes)
Address-and-Control-Field-Compression [0x08], length: (2 bytes)
Authentication-Protocol [0x03], length: (4 bytes), Password
Authentication Protocol [0xC023]
S9: Sending Disconnect Request
S9: Received Clear Conf (B29 ID:109)

Thats it nothing else happens, a WindowsCE toy connects just fine but
this PalmPilot refuses totally.

Any hints?

Best regards!
