I've noticed some discussion about the "Red Light" problem with the PM3's
and would like to contribute my 2 cents worth.
At one point in time, when I noticed a PRI was showing both red and green,
I would power cycle the whole box, only to see the "Problem" reoccur after
a couple of days in service.
As an experiment, when this happened again, I physically removed the cable
and then replaced it with another one while the PM3 was still powered on.
For some odd reason, the problem went away. The PM3 is running ComOS 3.7.2.
It's a 3A-2T, BTW. The PRI's we all have run on a DMS-100 switch.
