(PM) ISDN problems continued... (fwd)

Once upon a time Matt Willey shaped the electrons to say...
>thing the ISDN spits out before croaking is a Compression control protocol
>reject. Apparently the 3com/USR box wants to do STAC LZS, but my PM2 says
>nope. Is there anyway around this?

Disable Stac LZS on the 3Com end - PM2s cannot support it. Now, this
should NOT cause this problem. CCP *supposed* to be negotiated, and if
one end says "I cannot do that" the other end is supposed to say "Ok, we
won't use it". Insisting on compression and giving up when it cannot get
it strikes me as very poor behavior.
