Hello,

DUN Windows 95 clients will accept primary and secondary dns server
addresses
as they are known to the router under the condition that users have left
"server properties"
applet with the choice "server assigned dns address".

This should work if on the network panel :
1. The client does not have a NIC with DNS server different than the dial-up
adapter
2. If he does NIC and RAS have no common properties on dns or bindings
together.

On dns server address conflict :

1. RAS and NIC must have different tcp/ip properties (disable dns on dial-up
adapter).
2. All unnecessary protocols and bindings should be removed.
3. Before the PC can use a new set of protocols (new bindings) Windows has
to be restarted.
Tip: Try shutdown and restart while holding left shift key until it says
that it does so.

Hi,

Running
PM3 (PRI connected)
ComOs 3.8b15
Radius 2.01 (livingston)

Is it possible to configure the PM3 to enable our client to leave "Assigned
DNS server" in Windows PPP remote access.

Have searched for it everywhere with no success :-(

Thanks.
