You dont, That is a function of the csu.dsu.

What are you using for a syslog machine? You may need to start he daemon
with syslog -r (to accept remote data). and also make sure you set the
loghost to the machine doing the logging.

The speed. If it looks like 53333, then its v90.

If the pri is down and not connected to your pm 3, then it should roll to
pri 2.
