Haven't seen any problems here. The good connect rate is better with b17
than before.
The problem with unused checked protocols is an old problem, and maybe
depends of the settings of IPX. I noticed if IPX on pm3 is disabled, the
problem always appears on DUN with IPX enabled.
Beacause very few modems is available in europe with V.90, no user tried
that yet so I cannot tell about eventually succeded connections, but at
least someone with USR Courier will try next week.
